Four hundred and fifty-nine graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College on Saturday, June 15, 2019, the culmination of four years of study in the liberal arts.

At the 187th Commencement ceremony on May 26, Wesleyan conferred 763 bachelor of arts degrees; 44 master of arts degrees; 22 master of arts in liberal studies degrees; and 11 doctor of philosophy degrees.

Bucknell University presented degrees to nearly 900 graduates at Commencement on May 19, 2019.

On May 8, more than 300 Wesleyan students received University prizes and awards during a reception. Wesleyan's awards, prizes, and scholarships program connects recipients to the legacies of alumni, administrators, faculty, and friends of the university whose lives and work are honored through endowed gifts. Recipients of the academic scholarships, fellowships, and prizes represent the highest ideals of Wesleyan--intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, creative expression, leadership, and service.

This spring, nine student ventures received grants of up to $750 for spring or summer projects from the Jewett Center for Community Partnerships (JCCP) Student Innovation Fund. These student efforts are representative of the JCCP's commitment to cocreate mutually respectful partnerships in pursuit of a just, equitable, and sustainable future for communities beyond the campus-nearby and around the world.

The Wesleyan University fall athletic teams put a total of 56 student-athletes on the 2018 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team, while eight Cardinals earned All-Sportsmanship honors as announced by the conference on November 28.

Two members of the Wesleyan volleyball team were named to the 2018 Division III All-Northeast Region Team, while two others earned Honorable Mention, as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
